Things to Do
Covering 185 acres, Lakeshore Park can be found along the edge of the Tennessee River, providing visitors with breathtaking views of mountains and the lake. With extensive greenways, riverside paths, and youth sporting events, there is a lot to do. It also features trails, lawns, ball fields, and a playground. It is Knoxville’s single most-visited park, with one million visitors annually.
This year will be the community’s eighth annual showing of the Rocky Hill Christmas Parade and Festival. It begins in the Rocky Hill Center parking lot with a Christmas market. Guests can enjoy local food trucks, photos with Santa, and live music, and after the parade, the tree will be lit while local choirs sing.
